Graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in 1996.

Professor of “Civil and Commercial Procedural Law” at the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.

​

Mariela specializes in commercial litigation, especially in claims related to the automotive industry, road concessions and public works, and those resulting from shareholder disputes. She presently counsels several car manufacturers (Volkswagen, Scania, Seat and Audi) in court proceedings derived from their relationships with third parties, as a result of traditional automobile sales and car purchase plans. She also specializes in class actions related to consumer protection issues. She has extensively litigated in Successions and Family Law.

She has taught courses on “Tort Law”, “Civil and Commercial Procedural Law” and “Class Actions in Consumer Protection”.

​

She was a professor of “Public International Law” in the Buenos Aires Catholic University.

​

She is presently a member of the Supervisory Committee of Volkswagen Compañía Financiera S.A
